I think it's more about how Iran spins it in that region that puts our citizens in harms way for future ransom situations now that it comes out that way. I don't doubt that the transaction is exactly how the administration laid it out. But I have to think that terrorist groups have a different opinion of how that transaction is labeled. I agree. Iran has a lot more to gain (in their eyes) by lying about it and making it out to be something that it wasn't.

According to the CNN article, President Clinton in 2000 agreed to use that money to pay US citizens that won lawsuits against Iran.

The only explanation was some US citizens had filed and won lawsuits against Iran and Clinton agreed to use the $400M to pay them. So either he used taxpayer money to do it or President Obama used taxpayer money now to pay Iran.

My question to some of you....Why would you believe what Iran's government calls it, but not your own?

 

Iran is complete evil to many, but let's believe everything they say without a shadow of a doubt. Makes perfect sense.

If Iran is a "terrorist state," and this administration just negotiated a nuclear deal with Iran, then isn't this administration therefore guilty of negotiating with terrorists?
