Not official, but, if your opinion is that Iran is a "terrorist state," and you likewise acknowledge that the US did strike a Nuclear Deal with Iran, as has been widely reported, then it can be logically concluded that in your opinion the US negotiated with terrorists.

I am honored that my opinion of Iran as a terrorist state is used to say this administration is negotiating with terrorists. Makes me feel important. Like I have power or something. I just need to know if you will logically validate my other opinions or just the ones you happen to agree with.

It clearly did. Is there any mention of me saying that your opinion is right, or that I agree with it? It seems more like an attempt to figure out what your opinion is, and whether or not you consider the US negotiating with Iran as negotiating with terrorists. My opinion is clear. I think Iran is a terrorist state. Now if you want to get technical then we'll have to find out if Iran is officially listed as a terrorist state in order to logically conclude that the US negotiated with terrorists. If they aren't listed as a terrorist state then no, the US didn't negotiate with terrorists even though I think Iran is a terrorist state. My opinion is meaningless when you get to the nuts and bolts of the whole situation but if want to logically conclude that I believe they negotiated with terrorists then by all means let me know so you can logically conclude some of my other opinions.

All administrations have to make deals with countries we don't get along with at some point. There is no way around it. People underestimate the things needed to be done to keep peace around the world.

 

Even the capture of bin Laden was worried to ruin relations with Pakistan even though we knew they were harboring him despite their lies.
