I agree with the no but feel there's plenty on both sides who follow along with the letter. It does seem like there is also a growing population on both sides who have reached their limit on what they will support just because of the party affiliation.

Pretty much...as long as his or her values align with the party's. Just my opinion, of course.

I understand where you are coming from. My perception of Trumps base, is a base that is extremely dissatisfied with the GOP establishment in general, and the mainstream establishment in general.

About my second comment, that's just the way I perceived it. My apologies for coming across as abrasive. All's cool here. I am becoming very close to going 3rd party myself.

Would someone left of the democrat party be pro-2nd amendment? You read a few statements and you think that someone is left of the democrats? In THIS thread, I've supported Gold Star parents and a Vietnam veteran that lived as a POW for five years. Wherever that places me, I'm fine with it.
