No worse than Hillary's controversial remarks when she told the world and the family of 4 dead Americans that their deaths were the result of a video when she knew that was a lie. But what does it matter now, right?!

GOP Reacts to Donald Trump'''s Controversial Remarks on Khan Family - NBC News

It seems Donald has firmly stepped in the doo doo he was led straight into.

Stepped in the doo doo? Both of these candidates Stand in the doo doo all the time! Donald has no filter on his emotions and Hillary doesn't seem to understand that people make mistakes, own them and move on. She is still denying that she sent classified emails!

Neither of these people are the least bit deserving to be President! But one of them will be.

I would think this would be a stake thru the heart for the Don, but I've thought that before.

Trump is vile and there's simply no defending it.

He's possibly doing irreparable harm to the Republican Party, even if it manages to survive its fracturing. Paul Ryan and a litany of others have sold their souls to support him, which will look spineless and shameful in sobered hindsight.

As much as people disagreed with Bush's policies and decision-making, can anyone imagine him responding to this family in such a contemptuous way? This is the new face of the Republican Party.

And that's just his character. His interview with ABC yesterday was a smorgasbord of nonsense, but that's for another day.

Then we need to take a look at how Trumps family is treated by the media..

It reminds me of earlier in the year when he spent a period of time acting like he had never known David Duke instead of just disavowing the endorsement.

I don't understand why he had to go on and allude Mrs. Kahn wasn't allowed to talk not to mention comparing his sacrifices.

It's like he refuses to say the right thing.

President Bush showed how to respond in this situation. He had the mother of a slain soldier actively campaigning against him and calling him names (unlike this gentleman v Trump). He simply said that she's gone through a lot and deserves understanding.

President Bush, whether you liked him or not, was and is a good human being. Trump is a horrible person. He makes that more and more evident every single day.

Word and word.

He had his faults, but to his core he was a good guy. Candidate Trump is disgusting.

Sorry, UKMF, I missed your post.
