Pancakes or Waffles?

OK I got one for everyone...Pancakes or Waffles?

I love both, Pancakes are consistently better but a really good waffle is better than a really good pancake.

So I will choose Waffle, with a little bit of butter and syrup in each little square and cooked to a lightly crisped perfection.

Waffles, light on the butter, heavy on the syrup.

I gotta ask, why is it we were discussing fried chicken in the AM and waffles in the PM? Are you that excited for tomorrow's breakfast already?

I prefer waffles and hope it's one from Taste of Belgium. Vary rarely will order pancakes and would never even think about ordering those fruit topped cakes.

Brother, I'm always looking forward to breakfast. Favorite meal of the day...We often have breakfast food for dinner.

Who prefers their pancakes/waffles with jam/jelly/preserves rather than syrup? I like maple syrup, but my mom makes amazing preserves, so I've always waited until the butter melted, then slathered the pancake or waffle with preserves. Peach, strawberry, cherry, plum. blackberry, all that. Occasionally mom makes peach syrup.

Strawberry preserves on waffles for me!

Blueberries cooked in the waffles also awesome.

Bingo, my thoughts exactly.
