BigVMan23 Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Staying in the vein of @Randy Parker 's latest thread starters, and I thought of this one because I had this very choice at lunch just now. I picked chicken fried steak, and I believe that will be my choice to the question. I don't get cfs as much as fried chicken and I think that's probably the same for most. You can go about anywhere and get fried chicken, so maybe it's partly due to burnout/overload, but good cfs is hard to beat.
UKMustangFan Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 I don't even know what chicken fried steak is, but it sounds awful. I love me some good fried chicken though.
lawildcat Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 I make an awesome chicken fried steak!!! That would be my choice hands down even though I do love me some fried chicken as well!

BigVMan23 Posted July 20, 2016 Author Posted July 20, 2016 :idunno: If you like fried chicken, I am 100% sure you will like this, if you don't have an aversion to beef. It's basically cube steak breaded/battered and friend just like fried chicken and typically served with white pepper gravy. Chicken fried steak - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
SnottieDrippen Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 My Mamaw's fried chicken. I've never been so sure of a post.

Steak isn't meant to ever be breaded.
mcpapa Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 My Mamaw's fried chicken. I've never been so sure of a post. Same here. Maybe we were separated at birth.
SnottieDrippen Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Same here. Maybe we were separated at birth. Possibly, but more likely is the common acknowledgement of southern women of a certain age knowing their way around the kitchen.
spindoc Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Fried Chicken. Best thing about my mother in law. I hope I typed that quietly.
Getslow Posted July 20, 2016 Posted July 20, 2016 Fried chicken. My grandmother made the best. Cast iron skillet. Only way to do it.
