July 19, 201610 yr I don't think anyone argues the tragedy of Benghazi, but many of suggest there was a criminal negligence by HRC which is simply untrue. I know the movies make it seem we can mobilize a force instantaneously, but sadly some places that's not true. It is clear that this particular site had requested on numerous occasions enhanced security and it was either ignored or denied. Does that rise to the level of "criminal", maybe, maybe not...but at a minimum it is a derision of duty issue. We rarely can mobilize a force instantaneously, but in this case the emails were not lost and they do present a picture of lack of leadership and inability to understand the gravity of the environment. Hillary Clinton does not care about the lives of anyone except her own. She has no business being in a position to make decisions about the lives of our children. Like it or not, she is one of a team of useless people in power that would rather let Americans die than do the right thing by them.....

Remove the narrowing adjective 'criminal' - seems to be a closer fit. The report verified something that I had heard from a good source not long after this event - that a quick reaction force was forced to change uniforms a couple of times - after being loaded and ready to leave from Spain. Who ordered that action - the State Department. To avoid looking like we were invading a country in military uniforms. A country that we had sponsored the overthrow of a legitimate government - and now we were worried about the appearances of invasion? Note - the report says that this function would have needed to wait for planes from the UK to do a pick-up before going on to Libya. Even if so, assets should at least go into motion. Until the asset is at the border and needs CBA they can be aborted.

If it's like any other govt organization then it probably happens all the time. Most of time they get by with it. Again with so much obvious guilt some prominent Republicans in all of these hearings have chosen to look the other way.

But, I'm not surprised, considering that the President had never had a face to face meeting with General Michael Flynn Director of Defense Intelligence Agency appointed by Pres. Obama, himself.

Bullets :scared: Here's what I would say: those US citizens took an oath to defend and were let down, to their death, by the current administration. I don't give rat's behind if they have a D or an R behind their name, because blood is always red, no matter how you vote. This country may be divided but that has absolutely no bearing on supporting the people that are sworn to defend us common citizens against threats...they do it willingly and I expect those that we have put in charge, whether we like them or not, to be competent, vigilant, and honest.....
