Zion Harmon (#1 ranked player in AMERICA for class 2021) is a Bowling Green Purple!

Featured Replies

So, if he plays at Bowling Green this year as an 8th grader, he still could go anywhere else in Kentucky for high school and play immediately as a freshman because the transfer rule does not kick in until the student enrolls as a freshman and plays a varsity sport. Am I right about that?

I mean, it's not as if the transfer rule really stops anyone anyway....

But from the looks of it... He is their to stay because the big 7 footer they are rumored to bring in also is a 2018. And bowling green doesn't lose much of anything next year if that happens....

I don't think you can say anything definitively when you have someone who has moved around that much. Five years in one place is a long time for someone who has hopscotched. More power to them if he stays around, but I do think it is fair to say "we'll see."

Where all has the kid been? And he's hopped around that much and he's just thru with 7th grade?

Enjoy this kid while he is here. He is a great talent. I doubt very seriously this kid graduates from BG. Look at each year he is there as a bonus whether it is 1-2 years don't make long term plans for his Junior/Senior year at BG.

He'll be well into 15 years of age by the time his freshman season starts, I wouldn't crown him anything yet.

And?

And?

"7th grader competing in the EYBL" is sort of misleading. He was held back in 2nd grade, so to base his talent and projections as a "5'9, 7th grader" when he should be going into his Freshman year instead of the 8th grade. Not saying he isn't D1, but there are a lot more Demetrius Walkers out there then there are OJ Mayo's.

His age isn't an issue. So,,

Im sure Dragonfire would agree to this; no opponent would look forward in trying to match up with Zion Harmon and Vito Tisdale in the backcourt. They would be youngest backcourt in the state and based on state and national rankings they could be best backcourt in state. They are still a year or more away from getting their drivers permit!

Chances are they would probably move vito to the wing spot they seriously loaded in the backcourt with Zion Harmon, Deanglo Wilson, Tre, and Ziyon Kenner that is alot of speed in the backcourt and their front court is extremely lengthy ..... I think they will run the 5 in 5 out system...

Kenner plays basketball too? I love it!!! :D

Yeah he plays the point.... In my opinion i think he is one of the better defenders in the Region. He is great on the defensive end gets tons of steals and knows how to run an offense he is the type of guy who knows when to shoot not going to force a bad shot. He is just a pure point guard.

Vito is not a back court kid at this point. Great talent and athletic but he ain't a 1 or a 2

I'm imagining what this thread would look like if this was a small 14th region school
