He needs to go with a newer face like Mike Pence. If he picks one of the old rhinos like Christie or newt it's going to be the same ol same ol Hill get voted down because people are voting for Trump for a change not to bring back in the same dysfunction that's existed for the last 50 years

For a while I thought Kasich would be in the running, but I guess that isn't the case anymore.

If he picks a current politician it has to be somebody who can pull their state even if that state was already Red. Christie would be a terrible choice at this point. His approval ratings in New Jersey remain in the cellar.

 

Newt would ease the fear in the Republican Party. Heck even Biden said he'd feel better if Trump had Newt in a speech last week that Newt was attending.

 

I think he'll go with one of these fringe Senators: Ernst or Cotton. Of course why do I also feel like he will pick Mr. T or Hulk Hogan or Ivanka :idunno:

I read earlier that Pence has a bit of a time crunch because he can't run for Gov and Veep. Repubs need him to step aside for a new candidate if he is Trump's running mate. If only he could have gotten that switched like Rand.

If I were picking and not restricted to this list it would be Pence , Kasich or Paul.

Times sure have changed. Wasn't too long ago that Newt was the poster boy for in-your-face Republicanism.

I just checked and Ivanka is not old enough... yet. She turns 35 less than a month before the election, so I guess technically she would be eligible?
