June 28, 201610 yr I love good Bluegrass music. I've always been a fan of the sound of a mandolin. I do too, the faster the mandolin the more I like it. I especially like Bluegrass Gospel Music...but I like just about all Bluegrass Music.
June 29, 201610 yr And I love the Chieftains' collaboration with Bluegrass artists on "Down the Old Plank Road/Nashville Sessions". Just for reference purposes, Buddy and Julie Miller are not known as Bluegrass artists. More like roots rock or folk/country or some other mish-mash that can only be found on the left of the dial. Buddy Miller plays a mean mandolin, though, and has the chops to play Bluegrass on the regular in that and guitar.

July 7, 201610 yr I love good Bluegrass music. I've always been a fan of the sound of a mandolin. LOVE the mandolin!
July 7, 201610 yr I do too, the faster the mandolin the more I like it. I especially like Bluegrass Gospel Music...but I like just about all Bluegrass Music. I, too, like bluegrass gospel the best. Kinda paradoxical, I know.
July 7, 201610 yr Love Alison Krauss& US . Also, the Cox Family(Alison has produced some of their stuff).
July 7, 201610 yr I went to Rudyfest in Grayson over the weekend. Great time. The Lonesome River Band is great. I've heard them before they are really good. I think they were there this year. I go to the Festival of the bluegrass every year in Lexington. It's a good time. Another name I remember is the 21 string band. (I think that's it). I like them a lot as well.
