Cubs @ Reds (6/27 - 6/29)

Featured Replies

This is why I didn't want the Cubs to go Ape paying Arietta. He's shown to be more human lately.

It was unrealistic to think he could keep up the streak he was on.

However, I think it may have more to do with a "tired arm". Going into last season he had a career high of 156 innings pitched. Last year he jumped up to 229. That's almost a 47% usage increase. Guys with that kind of an increase usually see a regression the following season.

So nice that the Cubs have two home fields to play in. I saw very little red last night leaving my office downtown.

Cubs fans definitely turn GABP into Wrigley South.

Lots of cubbies there last night but Reds fans were able to drown them out when we had something to cheer for. Bryant? That kid looked like Bonds in his hey day.

I agree, I just didn't think he was worth 7 years and Kershaw type money.

Supposed to win when you hang a snowman on the scoreboard.

Not if you have Redlegs pitching. It's just never over..

Hopefully the vendors make some $ when the Cubs are in town.

I'm just gonna leave this here....

June: .325/.471/.538

Number one among active Major Leaguers in career on-base percentage. Basically tied with Mickey Mantle for 2nd in career on-base percentage among players since 1950 - only Barry Bonds is higher.

My favorite team :ylsuper:

A couple of decades ago, it was the stinkin' Braves fans that seemed like they took over. (Damned tomahawk chop.)
