And what church they pastor .

I want to hear them too. Nobody I know wants anyone killed.

I believe I address that in post #7. But if you're looking for am extremely blunt answer, I will provide one. "Yes. Beyond a shadow of a doubt I believe that God is very upset that a shooter went into a nightclub and shot anyone. I believe that while the shooting was going on, God was crying and saying 'please stop those are my children that you are killing'"

It's OK to bash Christians and they have to be PC and not offend the Muslims.

The premise of this discussion is there are fanatical wings of each religion, but some want to add ALL in front of any description creating fear and hysteria.

 

I would say about there is about same percentage of crazy radical Christians out there, but the difference being they live in the good ole USA, the land of milk and honey.

 

Flip the geography and that group may be acting the same as the radical Islamists.

It's a shame how Christians are showing no heart and sympathy towards those who were shot and killed, and towards those lost loved ones.

 

C'mon sportsguy , a video clip of a couple yahoo's doesn't mean they speak for everyone . just as the animal that killed those innocent people doesn't speak for all muslims . get real.

You know that I respect you Sportsguy, but I have to agree that this is pretty broad. I don't know if you're playing around with reverse psychology as a teaching tool of what it feels like to be painted so broadly, or if you really see it like that?

 

Anyhow a couple of yahoo's, like Manitoudan has pointed out, doesn't speak for everyone, and I gather that you realize this. You always seem pretty fair with your comments, so I have to believe that you can see that there are tons of Christians who are horrified by these shootings, and are sympathetic towards those killed and their loved ones.

I don't see, or hear, of Coptic Christians carrying out terrorist attacks. Actually, they have been targets of ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood, etc.

What I think was SF's point with this thread, and I could be wrong, is this...

Obviously neither of those things are true, but that hasn't stopped certain posters from trying to make it out to be so regarding Muslims.

I would say "Yes" for the "Christians" part and a definite "No" for the Bible. There are hateful Christians that do terrible things. Look at Serbia in the 1990s and really even the KKK. My understanding is that the KKK started as a Christian organization.

 

But you should not throw the Bible in the mix. And really not the Koran either, Koran is actually very peaceful. I do not believe in the Koran but I recently read the whole thing for the first time and there are only a couple of places where violence is justified.

You don't have to tell me that. I'm well aware that the Koran is peaceful. Many on here believe that true followers of Islam are radicals.
