Is Highlands' interpretation of the transfer rule correct?

Really you went there, that's a stretch.

If that's the case then we can name a whole lot of people that went to HHS that didn't go to a FT. Thomas school, need to get those blue and whit glasses off. LOL

It would help if you use the quote feature so we know who you are responding to.

FT also loses quite a few residents to NCC and other schools so it goes both ways, not a big deal. That's life.

Wrong.........bought a house in Campbell Co. out by NKU.

The Original DLG dated the older Moeves, and she would not have driven to Walton to see him. :lol2:

Thanks for the correction. I was right that they moved but wrong that they stayed in Boone County. That is probably considered NCC territory there isn't it? If yes, you could argue they moved into the NCC district to become eligible, versus just changing houses.

My glasses are multi-colored: blue and white, blue and gold, green and white and purple and gold. I can't see crap with these things on! :idunno:

Maybe but the mostly Blue and White.

Sorry your right.

Let me get this straight coaches offer up there game plans to you that's interesting.

Well a lot of Biggs were able to roam because she was in foul trouble in just about every game so Davenport was still able to get her points.

She did have some impact not denying that but not as much as you think.

No, they don't call me before the game to see if I approve...but we just talk basketball and teams and names come up all the time. NCC was much different, depending if she was on the floor or not.

Regardless...your point was that a transfer was going to take minutes away from kids that were already there. That just happened at NCC this year and I didn't see you on the board feeling sorry for the girls on the NCC team.

Why is it a problem now that someone transferred to HHS?

What isn't NCC territory???? Just kidding!!!!

I have absolutely no issue at all with NCC and respect them highly. (even though it's in my blood to hate them!)

I find the bona fide address discussion interesting. As has been mentioned you have regular movement of players between Newport Holy Cross and Holmes. A couple cases that might be very similar to Jenna Martin's move come to mind.

One similar case might be Burt Pouncy, the Ludlow QB, who changed over to play football at Holy Cross. He missed several football games waiting on the KHSAA to rule but was eventually made eligible.

The other one that I think might be the very same situation as Martin's is the move of Moeves from Walton-Verona to Newport Catholic. I seem to recall they purchased a new house that was still in Boone County, perhaps even still in Walton but were allowed to transfer to NCC.

Finally, I believe the KHSAA should publicize their decisions in as much detail as possible without violating privacy. That would be a service to all schools and students to help provide clarity and understanding of how the rules are being interpreted

Yep...I said the same thing. Assign it a case # and explain why that case was allowed or dis-allowed.

It sounds like they run a lot of things by you so they must be looking for something from you, hope you didn't give them the secret to stopping HHS last season. LOL JK

Because I didn't post it doesn't mean I didn't feel for them and if she was that big of an impact at Ryle she would have had her own post and I would have let you know but she didn't so that tells you the impact wasn't as much as it is for Martin, but I am sure you don't agree.

I agree....

It will at least Educate most of us for the most part on Transfer rules!

It would just drive you even more crazy. the KHSAA has no consistency and no backbone to enforce their rules.

Same for HHS there is no territory. LOL LOL kiddng of course.

Why does the size of the impact matter? They are both transfers that will take minutes from the other players. They both will start for their teams. Minutes are minutes. Are you just upset our transfer is considered by most to be better than your transfer?

Not at all, I wish Martin all the best and like I said she left ND because of the coach.
