June 16, 201610 yr Am I the only one that roots for the Three Lions? I pulled for them against Russia... and as usual they let me down. I typically don't cheer against England, but I do enjoy mocking them for just being so hilariously English. They invented the game, exported it around the world, and now everyone else is better. That sense of lost empire is so real and it's pretty funny.

June 17, 201610 yr Just turned it on in time to watch Sturridge do Sturridge things and mishandle a beautiful pass. Completely blew a great chance to put one on goal. Apparently Vardy tied this one up a bit ago. Liverpool Sturridge is one of the best players in the Prem. Chelsea Sturridge was real bad. England Sturridge always gets hurt. I hated to see Wales lose bc I love the pride they play with, but loved watching a Red score a big goal.

If I can remember correctly I think Bales move to Real set the transfer fee record.
June 17, 201610 yr I have this match on my second screen and wasn't paying attention, but it looks like Croatian fans threw lit flares on the pitch. The officials just put out a fire on the grass and it looks like they are clearing out a chunk of the Croatian fan section. Croatia is up 2-1 too.
