I would be surprised if he suited up for Game 4.

Three things stood out to me last night in the GS loss. 1. Cavs played with much more energy and urgency last night. They MUST play that way the rest of the series. 2. LB shot the ball from the perimeter like a champ...he looked more like Curry last night than Curry did. Can that shooting continue?:idunno: 3. GS looked like (and Curry in particular) they all just got done running a marathon before the game, they looked spent from the get go. Low energy, clumsy, and not ready to play. I'm not sure how much if any Cleveland had to do with that, maybe it was just GS's time to lay an egg...cause they sure laid one.

 

I don't think GS will play that badly again...but then again I wouldn't have thought they would have played that badly last night.

 

Thompson, Curry and Greene combined for 35 points last night, and most of Curry's came after the game was settled. I don't know what the deal with Curry is, but he better starting manning up and quit pouting like a little girl that was just sent to "time out". GS has pretty much done it without him for a while now, but that can't continue. He's supposed to be the best player in the league, time for him to step it up and prove it when it's the most important.

Top 10 isn't unreasonable if you care enough to make a case. I think your 10-15 is fair. Really depends on how much value you put in the Spurs/Dubs systems.

 

I'm thinking that LeBron, Curry, Leonard, Westbrook, Durant, CP3, Paul George, Davis when healthy are locks to be better than him.

 

Likely better Lillard, Draymond, Aldridge.

 

Not a big Klay Thompson guy as an elite player. Elite shooter, pretty good defender, but I don't think he can carry a team by himself. Top 25 guy, plays like a top 10 because of his system.

 

Guys with a higher ceiling and lower floor: Wade (age) and Melo (has maybe quit trying), Harden (top 10 when he's on).

 

There's 14, with the last three being debate worthy IMO.

 

Guys that are in his range: Wall, Thompson (I guess), KAT (will likely pass him this year), Blake and Deandre, Jimmy Butler.

 

JMO. I'm lower on Harden and Klay than most are.

Very similar to last year thus far for Curry. He did get it rolling the last few games of last year's finals when the Warriors won the final 3 games. Games 1 and 3 this year he has been off, but he did begin to get in a groove in the third last night, so maybe things will start coming around for him. In fairness to Curry in game 2, he started doing his thing but the Warriors went on cruise control. I didn't think much about that game.

The Curry pull down is an example of why I don't like him. That was so lame.

 

Please let KLove sit this series out and trade him this summer. Don't have to get another star. Get two role players, maybe an athletic wing and a versatile front court player.

He's proven to be a major liability at the highest levels of league play. What a team would have to accept is that if you have Love, you're going to have to build a special team around him to be a contender. He's on a team with a top 2 player in the league and another top 10-15 player and they can compete with the champs with him.

 

I have said this a few times the way LeBron has to play to be dominant does not allow other star players to play to their best abilite. Even with the Heat Wade and Bosh struggled to look as good when James was there. Wade even looked completely washed up his last 2 years with James. With James he has to dominate the ball and there is very little Ball movement. Yes he creates shots for others but it's a one pass offense with him. Which for some players it's hard to get in the flow or rhythm of the game with him. On the other hand James makes lesser players look better than what they are because he can create shots for him. Basically it's hard for another star player to look like a star player with James. While Love has his flaws if he went somewhere else he probably would like an every year type all star player again.

Most anointed him too early. He had a legendary regular season but he has proven nothing on the grandest stage when compared to the best players of all-time. Jordan, Magic, Bird, Kobe and LeBron never had the type of team that could survive them being absent for the Finals.

 

Like I said still think he's great, may end up top 10 all-time but I've seen people that have said be could pass Jordan.
