Corbin had 14 players on the field! Automatic 1st down since it was 4th and 4.

 

I thought that Corbin only had 10 players on the field on that play. Martin had to be helped off with either an injury or cramps and no one replaced him, but I could be wrong.

Watched this game after half time. It was 0-0 then. Defense and flags at really bad times. I believe both teams were in the Red-Zone in the second half and neither scored. Rockcastle went for it on fourth down and turned the ball over, then Corbin was in the shadow of their on goal post tried to pass on third down was sacked. Only points of the game. The radio guys were going on if you wanted a good ole defensive game you got it in the first game if you wanted a shoot out you got it in the second. Good luck both teams rest of the season.

Corbins defense is very physical. It takes alot of heart to get down in there and fight and hold your own against a team as big as Rockcastle. The offense was a little rusty, but when you got two defenses playing like that its hard to tell what kind of offense you really have. The real stand out player for corbin on the defensive line was #56 Jarrod Martin. He will really help corbin this year. The heart and grit corbin showed last night will carry them a long long way this year.

the play that went for over 50 yards for Rock and was called ack for a hold on the WR (#81) was flat out ridiculous. WYMT has excellent view of the downfield block and it was perfect, even in the game you could see he executed a perfect down field block.

It was a perfect downfield block until Rockcastles #81 and Corbins #26 wrapped each other upand went to the ground with #81 landing on #26. The play was past them at that time, but that is holding........

You know, like someone said earlier you can;t win if you don't score, and the Rock offense did not score so they may have worries, but to only have 70 yards offense must be very worrisome.

Pulled groin from what I have heard and could be out up to 6 weeks, but that may be a premature estimate.
