Rockcastle County 2 Corbin 0

If you watch the film from above his foot right behind the goaline. The bad call was that it was not a TD. The whistle blew before the QB even went down and he fumbled right into the defense's arms.

Actually when I saw the film I saw something totally different 3 wishes.

The QB's foot ends up in the endzone but after he has been pushed back in the tackle and then he is thrown into the end zone. He lost forward momentum much earlier than that. It should have been down about the one or inside it at worst.

The whistle blowing may have been late but he never looses the ball until the play is well over and he is on his back throwing the ball (not fumbling) upwards in disgust.

I'm no Corbin fan but that film was pretty clear.

Not a safety. No question at all. But, as 4CHS said, it is moot at this point.

Frances

It was definitely not a safety, but it doesn't really matter at this point.

Not a safety, not even close. Progress stopped at the 1 1/2 and then dragged into the endzone. As far as someone saying it should have been a touchdown on a fumble.......his knee was down and his rearend was on the ground when he tried to throw the ball away.

Really doesn't matter.......if you can't score you can't win

Not a Saftey.

The refs in that game were looking for flags to throw. But they seemed to ignore the obvious penaltys and ball placement. hmm. Feel sorry for the team that has that crew this week.
