Delly really only took one outstanding shot all night. Unfortunately it was directed at Andre Igoudala's dangly bits and not at the rim.

 

I really liked that call by the refs. They won't be the deciding factor in this series if last night is any indication.

I hate the excuses people always have for James. Besides the big 3 for the Cavs only Thompson actually got to shoot the ball some. The rest of the Cavs team only had 10 shots total. I don't know how people can help him out more if they don't score.

 

I have had this argument with a buddy of mine for years who always says James doesn't get enough help. Well it's hard for to many people to play well with James. James needs to dominate the ball for him to do well. Any team James is on there is very little Ball movement. Now James will creates shots for others but it's either a James shot or James drive and one pass then a shot. It's hard for others to truly get in the flow of a game with James because they don't touch the ball. With the Warriors they have their big 3 but in their offense everyone still touches the ball and lots of Ball movement to keep people in the flow of the game and is why others beside their big three can step up more often.

 

James is amazing and one of the greatest to ever play the game. However the way James needs to play to truly dominate makes it hard for his teammates to play as well because they don't get into the flow of the game. That style is still good enough to win the east because he is that great, but is why in the finals against the West his team's strugale to win. Talented Team basketball over talented isolation basketball gets it done.

I like Thompson over Bogut a whole lot and Harrison Barnes is trash so yeah, I like Cleveland's starters over Golden State's but as I said I love Golden State's bench way more than Cleveland's and overall I like Golden State's team better.

James, Irving & Love took 71% of Cleveland's total shots while Curry, Thompson & Green took 44% of Golden State's. Irving played to much one on one, which resulted in him shooting too many bad shots.

 

If the Cavs don't share the ball better going forward, the Warriors repeat.

I feel like he has created his own lane. He is a unique player with a unique skill set. He went about his career differently than anyone else and has still found a good measure of success regardless of how people try to clown him.

He's an unreal basketball player with physical tools that allow his skill set to be dominant. One of the greatest I'll see in my lifetime.

Legendary and transcendent athlete but not as many championships as his abilities would suggest. Wilt was likely the most athletic big in NBA history, LeBron's probably the best athlete in NBA history. Both are criticized for not winning more.

 

I'd imagine someone who saw Wilt play in his prime has a similar experience to those of us that have watched LeBron in person.

 

Games are totally different, but they may end up with similar legacies.
