Question of the day: Is Cov Cath that good...or is Boone Co. that bad?

I think Boone always starts out slow for some reason and then turns it up at the end of the season. Semms like thats been the case past couple of years. But i sure wouldn't mind seeing them struggle this year in a select few games :sssh:

 

But as for the game, with or without Farris this is still an embarassing loss. Don't get me wrong, Covcath is a very good team, but for being the size of BC and not being able to atleast put one score up on the board besides a safety, is pretty embarassing. But like I said credit the Colonels for this.

 

Boone, keep your heads up and keep working hard boys. Don't let one loss get you down. Good luck to both teams the rest of the season.

Brown and Buckley both looked great. Bovard and Sutton both had TD catches, Alex Wise had a nice, 35 yard reception. Defense was solid, forced a fumble early. On to Elder...

Boone needs to do some soul searching. Nice game by CCH. The runnung back tandum is very stong, and could cause tems some trouble both on the ground and in the air.

I cant wait for the CCH/Highlands matchup in Ft. thomas.

I was surprised by the lack of size of the Rebels.

 

Popham's kick was impressive.

Was told it was either the third or fourth longest in state history, and was also a CovCath record.....

 

The safety was recored by Boone on a bad snap to Blesser who was going to punt the ball. The ball sailed over his head and he just kicked the ball out of bounds in the endzone, it was IMO a smart move as Boone County got only two points out of the play instead of getting the ball inside of the 5 yard line with a first and goal. The game was basically out of control by that time anyway so other than not getting a shut out it meant nothing....

I'm not sure why. I keep hearing how Boone is a slow starting team and they often struggle to defend to the pass. Plus with Farris out, Boone didn't have much of a shot in this one.

To answer the question, CCH is that good.

Sounds like the score is not indicative of the game like the Highlands game last night. I wish these 2 would play tomorrow.
