I did hear that when the child fell into the pit that the mom instead of trying to get him out or call anyone that she just yelled out I love you. I also heard that the Gorilla may have been trying to protect him from all the screaming people.

Eye-witness accounts have said others there had to stop both the mom and a couple men from going in after him.

June 6, 201610 yr Had a discussion with a relative yesterday who said that parents have a difficult time many times watching kids, but a couple minutes later when told that this lady had a total of 4 kids with her then they said "that's too many kids for one person to have to look out for". THIS is my point, as I agree, too many for one person to look out for, therefore she MAYBE shouldn't go out alone with that many kids BUT, I'm not saying it's her fault, but she did have her hands full, and as I have said before, she knows her kid more than we know, and it's very possible that he is the type of kid who is a "pistol" so to speak and runs off on his own, possibly but heck we don't know. BUT, all I wanted was that the courts and all look into this, then did, and the prosecutors office and I also assume CPS looked into it and decided not to press charges, I'm fine with that, since they did look into it. If Mr. Bartender serves me 1 drink and I get into an accident, that's on me. If he serves me multiple drinks and I am falling down drunk, yeah, that's on him. She had another adult and 2 other children, 1 practically an adult, along with her other 3 children with her. BTW, I've never met a 3 year old boy who wasn't a pistol. Terrible 2's is a myth. There is not a parent of a kid more than 5 years old that has not had that "uh-oh" moment where they have momentarily lost track of their kid...most likely just for a brief instance. It may only be for 5 seconds but it is a terrifying feeling. I cannot imagine the horror this woman must have felt when she had that "uh-oh" moment and instead of seeing her son OK a few seconds later...she saw him down there with the gorilla. If she was not paying attention to her kids, I could understand the outrage. However, there is a lot of evidence that she WAS paying attention and this happened. Deters actually said this was an easy decision... I agree.

Next topic reading your first paragraph makes me think you believe either no one on BGP has kids or that we're all idiots.
