May 30, 201610 yr Why is race mentioned in the title? The title alone is horrible without the mention of race Pertinent to the story.
May 30, 201610 yr Why is race mentioned in the title? The title alone is horrible without the mention of race I thought the same thing but apparently the the animals that did this aren't just cruel perverts, they are also racists, real racists not the made up kind.
May 30, 201610 yr Throw the parents in the slammer for raising that kind of garbage. And I HOPE the victim and his family get the money, too. Here we go again trying to place blame on someone other than the guilty party.
May 30, 201610 yr Here we go again trying to place blame on someone other than the guilty party. Do the people that raised the thugs have no culpability? A kid doesn't learn to hate like that on his own. No one is not blaming the thugs but I think it would be appropriate if the families had to pay financial damages. According to the article the lead thug had been moved to Idaho because he had discipline issues in Texas. Sound like the parents knew they had a time bomb.

Do you not know of or heard of parents that raised their children in a loving, caring home and the children turned out to be druggies, thieves, murderers? Parents can raise their children the right way, and kids turn out completely different than the way they were raised. Always blaming the parents for the way someone turns out is ridiculous.

According to the article the lead thug had been moved to Idaho because he had discipline issues in Texas. Sound like the parents knew they had a time bomb. That's my point as well, All Tell. Apparently there was a history of abuse here. These were minor kids that live at home. I bet the parents were there for the good times---Friday night lights in the bleachers watching their boys play. But were the parents around for the mundane every day stuff? Were they observant during the boring times when their kid was not in the spotlight? Raising kids is not easy and it sucks to be the uncool parent who is all questioning and prying. But it's what we signed up for. And this pack of parents dropped the ball and did not do their job.
May 30, 201610 yr You can't charge the parents for the actions of their child. You can fairly question if they did a good job or not but they didn't commit a crime. The parents of the kid who fell in the zoo didn't commit a crime.
May 30, 201610 yr This 2002 Made for TV movie "Bang Bang You're Dead" is based on a play that first premiered on April 7, 1999 and by total coincidence just 13 days before the Columbine High School Massacre that happened on April 20, 1999. I had never seen or heard of this movie before, and just happened upon it last month on TV and found it to be quite compelling and thought provoking. It deals a whole lot with the type of unreported bullying that goes on in schools and the pressures suffered by kids who repetitively go through it. The lead actor in this movie reminds me a lot of Eminem. The report of this incident in Idaho made me think of this film because in it time and again the perpetrators of the bullying were mostly the school's football players that continuously went ignored. I never expected that I would get wrapped up in a nearly 15 year old Made for TV movie (that is somewhat like a children's after school special) but it was so interesting that before I knew it I was hooked. I don't expect many here to just drop everything and watch it, but for those who do I guarantee you'll find it interesting. The movie doesn't justify mass shootings in schools, but it gives insight to the pressures that can throw some kids over the edge. It turns out that this film won numerous awards including a Daytime Emmy Award in 4 categories, a Peabody Award, Best Feature at the Nantucket Film Festival, and the Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Children's Programs.

February 28, 20179 yr The worst thing you will read today. White high school football players in Idaho charged with raping black, disabled teammate with a coat hanger - The Washington Post If true, every person involved needs to go to prison. If coaches did as accused they also need to be prosecuted. This is as bad of a thing as I've seen in a while  What is wrong with people? What is wrong with these boys to even thing of doing something like this? Put them all in the jail for life.
