The Obama Thread

Featured Replies

Could you use ANY MORE gross generalizations? Latinos wanted free meal tickets?

If anyone wants to see who Trump is playing to.....

A meal ticket is a cliche.

But yeah they see Obama and the Dems as a free ride. And the sad thing is they are right.

What % of Latinos do you say see President Obama as a "free ride?" What % of Latinos do you think don't want to work?

Well maybe if more were open minded and not just vote for reasons.

Blacks voted for Obama because he was black, nothing to do with principles or economy.

Latinos voted Obama just because he favors letting everyone in America and he was giving out free meal tickets along with housing, medical and legal lawyers for them. Nothing to do with anything but that.

Also Obama is the least TRANSPARENT POTUS ever.

You do realize deportations have increased under Obama. In fact more have been deported under him than any other President.

As far as the "reasons" you mention that people voted for him. How do you know why certain groups or people vote the way the do? And on the flip side do mean that the it's only whites that use critical thinking and base decisions strictly on policy when casting their vote? I'm sure that's not what you mean, but when you present your argument like you did, that's how it sounds. And that's what helps create that people for some reason blame on Obama. He can't fix 225+ years of racial tension, mistrust, and inequity, and the guy becomes a horrible failure. What about the 43 guys that came before him?

Good golly molly. That's your example of President Obama hating/bashing America?

Heck, she's right. We , as a country, do not try to hear the other side or understand the other side. We stay in our groups where we know it's safe i.e. "they think like me."

That's not hate. That's saying we need to understand each other more.

So you've got one example and it's poor.

Thats not the only example I put on here.

Her saying that is sad for a person.

And white people voted against Obama because he was black... What is your point?

You do realize deportations have increased under Obama. In fact more have been deported under him than any other President.

It should since he has let more than his share into America.

And white people voted against Obama because he was black... What is your point?

Not all.

My point is those who voted for him just because of race and seeing him as a welfare president, didnt use common sense and look at all the issues.

Thats not the only example I put on here.

Her saying that is sad for a person.

What did she say that is sad? Are you put off by the use of "ignorant?" What word would have been better? Or do you think she's just flat out wrong about what she said?

Did you even read this?? All of the bashing comes from the author of the piece who is reading "between the lines" (and incorrectly, as I can't find anything offensive in what Obama said). The speech that he pulls this "bashing" from sounds a lot like a football coach pumping up his team before a game. He speaking to new American citizens telling them they are now part of something great and that with hard work they can help make this country greater. Where is the bashing?? The author is putting words in Obama's mouth. Another example of "journalism" meant to create clicks and inflame, rather than tell the truth.

It should since he has let more than his share into America.

Once again, he can't win. The immigration policy has been a failure for 50 years, but it's all Obama's fault. Even though it's small business owners that keep hiring immigrants so they can cheaply build their businesses. Reagan offers amnesty to 3 million aliens and he still a conservative God. Obama deports nearly 3 million immigrants and he's a liberal devil.

Mtn Ref's examples support my belief that if you mention our race problem and challenge the country to be better you're a divider (or if you're from Mississippi - "agitator").
