Egyptair Plane Missing

These stories make me very sad. The families of those souls didn't wake up today thinking that anything like this was going to happen.

Engineer on TV said the loss of a wing would cause violent turn to one side, then the plane would turn over upside down and would spiral down appearing to reverse direction as recorded on the RADAR.

My first guess (assuming a mechanical issue) is a vertical stabilizer problem. (not an uncommon thing) This can cause the plan to turn in one direction or the other. This can be corrected by the pilot however normally leads to over correct in the other direction.

Now it is possible that a wing could separate, but honestly not without an engine cowl creating the initial weak point to cause the wing separation.

Reason I say vertical stabilizer is they were what 400 or so miles from Egypt, which means they should have been beginning decent, hence when a problem with a vertical stabilizer would be noticed.

Or the Islamic State had a bomb on the plane.

Of course it is possible someone had a bomb or took over the plane and crashed it yes.

Apparently a group of people are claiming that that have done such a thing.

Again, if a bomb were dropped over the area where the "religion of peace" is based, all issues would come to a stop. It's really not that hard.

The number of people who seem to gleefully advocate for the murder of people who may or may not have anything to do with the problem at hand has been a disturbing revelation in the last decade.

What kind of bomb did you have in mind? And where should we drop it?

Surely, with the technology in today's society, we can get an very close idea of where the leader(s) of that religion are basing out of. Wouldn't take much to fly over, drop a few bombs on that area, and voila. Assuming you thought I meant 'nuke em', well, we know what happens when one assumes. And yes, if they are tied to ISIS, I'm ok with them being killed off.

If it was that easy, don't you think we'd have done it already?

Actually, no I don't. The powers to be are a joke. So no, I don't think we would have done it already. Just my .02

Japan has been good boys and girls since 1945.

Sometimes none. There aren't enough air marshalls to fly every one of the 30,000 domestic flights that occur daily in the U.S. Less than 4,000.

And they're cutting those numbers A LOT. Due to Air Marshals success rate in deterring threats the government has decided there isn't a great need for them. So instead of saying it's working they've decided it's not necessary....

Maybe one of Hillary's stinger missiles from Beghazi shot the plane down.
