Why some people hate Fox News <=== Title 'may be' Misleading

Featured Replies

Fair or not Fox News will get the blame for the ignorance and hate that was displayed. People always seem to ask why Fox News is hated so much. This is one example of why.

Horrible example...If anyone uses this as a reason to hate Fox then without being hypocritical they would have to hate pretty much every site with open comment on the internet. I think it is more people already hate Fox and say "Look here"

There were Rednecks making disparaging comments on MSNBC site also and some have been deleted it looks like.

Oh, yes. The comment section on all other outlets' websites are full of enriching conversation.

Articles like this are scary. They do nothing but give credence to lazy journalism, and I use that term loosely. Really? We are reporting upon a comment section, the gutter lane of the internet? The article's purpose is to be divisive. It is equally as disturbing and harmful as the racist posts.

Kids should always be off limits.

Yes but they arent. Ask the Palin kids.

If you don't believe people will read those comments and say "this is why I hate Fox News" then you are being naive. Hypocritical or not.

There are tons of articles about this floating around. It's the media's purpose to be divisive. Not just this particular article.

I wonder if they think the same reading comments on other sites? It is very narrow minded if they think that way and can't see those comments for what they are.

But I have no doubt that people use stuff like that to fuel their hate of Fox.

Yes but they arent. Ask the Palin kids.

Or Chelsea Clinton

I think a lot do. WLEX 18 takes flack for pretty much everything they cover in the news in some shape, fashion or form. We live in a very narrow minded society these days. People don't need many reasons to validate their beliefs.

Maybe that is a result of misleading article titles intended to be used as click bait.

Or it is just another glimpse into the current state of our society.

WH first reported where she was going to college. Not Fox News.

Who cares what some say, it dont express my thoughts and if someone gets upset over what they say, then they have too much time on their hands.

She is going to Harvard based on who she is. As does any rich spoiled kid in America

If people are using the comments section to justify their hate of Fox News (or any other site) they are just as narrow minded as those who made the comments.

It is America in 2016.

Or it is just another glimpse into the current state of our society.

That people are so incredible stupid that we accuse others (Fox) for actions which they are not responsible for? The only people that blame Fox for these comments are people that never liked Fox News, and are just looking for a reason to accuse the organization of racism. If anyone with half a brain actually read the article, and not just the title, they would know that Fox is in no way responsible for the comments. Instead, people are to lazy/ dumb to read, so they just take the easy route and blame Fox for being racist.
