Leicester City Wins Premier League Title

Featured Replies

I'd never root for Chelsea. Was hoping Spurs could pull it out today and LCFC could've clinched it in front of the home fans Saturday.

I don't have any Spurs hate... but I do enjoy laughing at their perennial failure to hang on. Still, no shame in second. Straight through to the group stages in the Champions Leage next season.

Case #1 - my boss is a Chelsea fan. He was thrilled that his team was the one that knocked the Spurs out. Cases #2 and #3 - people on my work team who are Liverpool and Man U fans. They were thrilled. Case #4 - Cincinnati Gooners fan club (Arsenal) who I follow on Twitter - the jokes against the Spurs were outstanding to read.

Watched the second half and was hoping for the result we got. I've been slowly getting into the EPL. NBCSN does a great job. Broadcasting the matches. I just could not believe how unglued Tottenham became in the final 15-20 minutes. They had 9 yellow cards and two guys should've been tossed for a high tackle and stepping on Chelsea players had. Yes they were obviously frustrated, but the game was only tied and they still had 10 minutes after the tying goal to score and keep their championship dreams still Alive. I blame the players for being to immature and selfish to realize they had plenty of time and just turning the game into a shoving match with to many to count cheap shots.

Tottenham was the youngest team by age in the Premier League this year. It showed in the last few minutes.

This season...they are currently 3 points out of relegation.

Making what they did last year even more special. It's amazing that they bring back almost their entire team and have performed this poorly. Kante is really the only significant piece lost but his loss has been a big one as he was the engine that drove the entire machine last year.

Mahrez and Vardy should have left while they had the chance. But man oh man how tough is it to come back after winning the EPL? Chelsea was a dumpster fire last year and Man City choked it the year before last. Tough to come back in the EPL.

I don't know the other clubs well enough to say how it impressive it is, but they are still currently leading their group in the Champion's League.

Which makes what ManU did from 2006 thru 2013 that much more impressive.

It really does!

I think all of their eggs are in the CL basket at this point. Still likely to get bounced in round of 16 unless they can pull off another miracle.
