I have asserted in previous posts that Hillary is vulnerable with the black community. I believe a commitment to get our jobs back from China and South America, and the training and education to compete for those jobs would be well received,

If you believe that Trump can get those dis-satisfied with Obama and claim that Hillary is 4 more years of the same out to the polls he might have a chance. I still think it takes a massive turnout for Trump to have a chance. Many of us wont be a fan of either candidate, assuming one may just as bad or worse than the other and many of those wont vote.

The likelihood that white moderates and white females will abandon Trump is far greater than Hispanics and blacks abandoning Mrs. Clinton. For this PJ Media article to be credible, it needs to show that (a) such is already happening in the Democratic primary (it isn't) and (b) reputable Hispanic or black political leaders need to be echoing same (they aren't).

I'm seeing zero evidence that the black or Hispanic vote is turning against either Mrs. Clinton or the Democratic Party. Will Mrs. Clinton get the numbers that supported Obama in '08 or '12? Of course not. Having said that, neither Trump nor Cruz will come anywhere close to what Romney did in '12 in garnering the white vote.

Forgive me if I don't trust what white people on BGP have to say about Clinton's relationship with black people. Having black acquaintances does not mean you know what's truly going on in the black community.

I agree Trump has much ground to make up.

 

Many Dem talking heads are talking about how women can't stand Hillary. I find this interesting.

I dismissed Trump's chances to win the Republican nomination and he is well on the way to proving me badly wrong, so I won't be that surprised if he does not somehow turn around some of his numbers with women and minorities.

W got 11 percent of the black vote in '04. Romney got 7 percent of the black vote in '12. I seriously doubt if Trump cracks double digits.

Black unemployment has been on a steady decline for years and is below what it was in 2004.

 

Incarceration? That's been an issue since President Clinton's get-tough-on-drugs bill was passed in the 90s.

 

Two parent families declining? Yeah - since the 70s.
