I have a hard time believing blacks are as bad off as the numbers may indicate. I guess I have just lived a charmed life in knowing a significantly high amount of successful and gainfully employed blacks. I'm not sure if it's every business that has to provide them. The smallest I've done them for was $1M in sales with about 35 employees. They tend to switch off so that if you have a comprehensive one to do one year, you will have a less detailed one for the next year or two. If they do cut it off at say 20 or 25 employees before you have to report that still leaves a lot of people not being included. I assume they work it out with various statistical analysis but that kind of stuff is beyond my payscale.

Those folks are angling for jobs and moving up the political ladder so they can't be fanboys when they are around the "next president". They'll get kicked out of the room. Your pictures are two different scenarios. You have folks happy to see their rock star in Trump's picture and in Hillary's picture you have folks hoping to make a good enough impression to improve their union/occupational situation. The two pictures aren't remotely comparable.

I'm told most union steel workers support Bernie and Trump. I know my brothers local has a strong Trump lean and leadership trying to squash it.

I'm not talking about members and those aren't membership in those pictures. That is leadership in the picture and only leadership would be invited to be in the same room as Hillary. The union leadership that actively campaigns are some hardcore, close minded folks. All they see is Hillary.

But the few locals I have contact with are going to have new leadership at the next election over the strong disconnect. Union members I know are so anti free trade . I'm for free trade. Imagine having to fight for those jobs when logic is screaming at you that you are not only fighting the wrong fight but fighting a losing cause. I don't miss it.
