April 20, 201610 yr There are many beautiful places in this great country. In the Lower 48 what is the most beautiful you have seen? You can only name one. Your own home is not considered because we almost all love where we live. Mine is Lake Tahoe looking down from the Nevada side. Absolutely breathtaking to me.
April 20, 201610 yr Only one I have to go with the Grand Canyon. Was lucky enough to have a completely cloudless day and a full moon that night. Colors changing during the day/early evening followed by seeing it under the full moon was breathtaking.
April 20, 201610 yr Bear Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park is very pretty. A crystal clear lake with the snow caps in the background. It is the most beautiful place that I have personally been to.
April 20, 201610 yr Glacier National Park in Montana. In fact, you could probably drop me off anywhere on the Going-To-The-Sun Road and I'd be happy...can't go wrong with Lake McDonald or Saint Mary Lake.

April 23, 201610 yr I'm going to have to go with Astoria, Oregon ( Ft. Stevens State Park ) near the mouth of the Columbia River Gorge. The color of the Pacific Ocean through out the entire Oregon and Washington coast is an incredible emerald blue ( cold as heck but amazing ). Beach camp fires, cold beverages, and fresh caught seafood always enhance the atmosphere as well. Bonus points for being able to drive on the beach. Close seconds were Jenner-by-the-Sea California, North Carolina Southern Outer Banks, Big/Little Powder Canyon Utah, Summit County Colorado, Cannon Beach Oregon, and Charleston SC! :sneaky:
April 24, 201610 yr Since we can only name one place; in which case I am not allowed to name the Grand Canyon or anywhere in Alaska, I will go with Pebble Beach...
