April 14, 201610 yr Author Titans receive the Rams 1st rounder (#16), two second rounders (#43 & #45), and the #76 pick in this year's draft. Also get the Rams 1st and 3rd next season. Massive haul. Rams also get the Titans 4th and 6th rounders this season.
April 14, 201610 yr Seems like the Rams gave up quite a bit, or is that just me? I'd say great move for the Titans. I bet they make another deal and move back up a little.

No I agree, seems like a lot to give up for basically one player. IMO the Rams got Rammed on this one (throwing it back to the RGIII Rams/Skins deal). I mean as much as they fleeced the Redskins a few years ago you would think they would know something about avoiding a burn like this but they must be content with their current roster. They are basically giving up four possible starters this year and two next year for essentially one player. Ouch! Better make it count!
April 14, 201610 yr TRADE BY NUMBERS Titans receive from Rams: 1st round pick (15 overall) 2nd round pick (43) 2nd round pick (45) 3rd round pick (76) 1st round pick in 2017 3rd round pick in 2017 Rams receive from Titans: 1st round pick (1 overall) 4th round pick (113) 6th round pick (177)
April 14, 201610 yr I bet they make another deal and move back up a little. I would like to see the Cowboys try to swap the 4th pick out for #15 and #43 that the Titans now own. That would be a great move for the Cowboys IMO as it would give them 3 picks in the top 43. However, you're probably going to get a dynamic player if you stay in the top 5 so it's a tough call to make. I would love to see Cowboys end up with Jalen Ramsey or Myles Jack (if the knee checks out), however, if they could move back and end up with say a Noah Spence, and two solid early second rounders that would also be a nice draft haul.
April 14, 201610 yr It all depends on if Wentz turns out to be a stud in the NFL or not. As a life long Rams fan I would like to have seen them get it done cheaper, but this franchise is stuck in the mud without a QB.

April 14, 201610 yr I am thinking this maybe for Goff. He is the number QB on most boards and he played in California. The Browns haven't said whether they would take Goff or Wentz or even a QB (I think they will though). The Rams are going to be in LA and why not have a homegrown boy starting at QB for the "new" Rams. Makes sense to jumpstart football in L.A.
April 14, 201610 yr Takes some guts to make this deal. As a GM and or Coach if you make a deal like this then it better work out or else you are guaranteed to be out of a job in a year or two.
April 14, 201610 yr Could be...but I hope it's Wentz. Whoever it is I just hope it's the guy that can hold that spot for the next decade or so.
April 14, 201610 yr As I said a week or two ago, this is incredibly rare. We always hear each season, "I would trade the top draft pick for multiple picks later on...." like it is commonplace. It seldom happens because it takes two to tango and draft picks are valued commodities. If memory serves, the last team to trade up for the top pick was Atlanta to nab Mike Vick.
