mcpapa go talk to some real eastern Kentucky people. You wont like what they have to say....I can honestly say I do not know one person that thinks like you guys do among all the Democrats that I know and I know alot. Black White Latino Asian, none of them even remotely think like this. Some of the younger people I know really like Bernie, but they will tell you they think that he is gonna get all their college debt took care of. They dont care who pays for it as long as they dont have to and they will tell you that. By the way I think Bernie actually believes what he says and for that I give him credit.

There in lies the problem with liberal thinking. You think you know what is better for the individual than they themselves do.

The reduced number of fishing lakes, metaphorically speaking, partially explains the success of both Sanders and Trump. Used to be those dependent on Uncle Sam were "the least among us." That's no longer the case. People of all incomes have been cast aside by corporations seeking to maximize profits by shifting production overseas and setting up HQ in foreign countries.

I hate that jobs have been sent overseas as much as anyone. One of the main reasons this has happened is due to the greedy unions.

In their day they did do a lot for the American worker. All unions are now are greedy corporations unto themselves. They have outgrown their usefulness.
