D'Angelo Russell/Nick Young Scandal

Featured Replies

Did Russell share this because he doesn't like Young? Maybe Russell was trying to get rid of Young and it blew up on him?

Because he's talented. If he can prove his worth on the court folks will play with him.

I do think this could be harmful to their free agency the next couple of seasons. At the same time there will be plenty of people who won't be bothered by this. They just have to find them and hope they are really good. :lol2:

We'll just have to disagree. He's not THAT talented, to simply overlook this.

Maybe Russell and Iggy are doing the deed too?? :idunno:

Stephen A Smith, clown show that he is, just said Russell committed career-suicide. Not sure he'll ever be able to recover from it.

Hmmm ... maybe Russell shared it with Iggy?

OK, whatever. This is all the National Enquirer talk I can handle.

:walk:

He's done in the league as far as team loyalty. Nobody will forget this immature act.

He's 20. Immature would be holding this against him for the rest of his career.

Talented enough to overlook it? I don't know that anyone is that talented where something like this would be overlooked.

Agreed. I think the Stephen A. Smiths out there screaming career suicide are reaching. He's 19-20 years old. There will be plenty of mature folks who get over this quickly.

Byron Scott said it was a prank gone wrong. Reports from LA is that D'Angelo is going to use the "I was hacked defense".

KD will be on D'Angelo's side now. :lol2: Stephen A. Smith may have helped LA's free agency chances with KD. :lol2:

I hate that Byron Scott looks right now. That bothers me more than anything now. :lol2:

Sure he was. :lol2:

What a punk move. No other way to describe it really. He's young, but he's an adult. No way I could ever trust him again if he were a teammate.

If this ruins his NBA career, maybe he can get a role in the next Mean Girls movie.

Stating a young kid is immature does not a prophet make. Understanding maturity takes time doesn't change the fact that he's won fewer games than Brett Brown the last two years.
