March 23, 201610 yr List compilers must be the same people who gave the Best Picture to "How Green Was My Valley" that year. Unconscionable. Lots of extra stuff going on around "Kane" that prevented it from getting votes. Almost as crazy to me is that "The Maltese Falcon" didn't win a single award that year. "Heavy. What is it?" I had a roommate in college who, every Friday when I either got back from work or met him at the pub after work, would slide me a beer and invariably say "Have a beer... Don't cost nothin'." I still say that all the time because he burned it into my head.
