Congrats to Doss!

Listened to the last quarter. Sounded like Doss was down early by 12 or so but fought back for the win. Congrats.

The Grubb kid sure did play well, hopefully he will get on a very good AAU team and help him improve his college chances.

GOTTA be all-tourney team.

I agree, he needs to really devote himself to summer ball and get into a good fall league travel team to get ready for his SR yr. The kid sure has a good future in basketball and someone will get a tough player

Unfortunately fall leagues are illegal in Kentucky. I wish Kentucky would adopt them but no way that football coaches would allow it to happen

Huh, sure didn't know that. I guess he should stay in the gym until basketball next year and work on his game to improve his chance at a scholarship.

He can play AAU in the spring

And summer

One guy who visited this site told you about Doss and what Tony Williams had developed...

Congrats Dragons!

This was one of the best games of the week. You never knew who was going to win until there was about 20 seconds left.

South Laurel had a strong team and a very good season. They were much much better than I thought and I knew they were a good team but I definitely underestimated them all year long. They looked great all week. Jared Grubb can play some ball and Caleb Taylor is a helluva player as well. I really liked Ryan Anders a lot as well as Andrew Griffith. I thought they were well coached and I enjoyed watching them play. Congrats to South Laurel on a great season.

I thought when Doss began face guarding Grubb late that they were able to seize a little control in the game. It had been back and forth but with Taylor out of the game and Grubb unable to even touch the ball things got hairy for South Laurel. Stephon Franklin had a strong game for Doss, Laron Hargrove had some timely points at the end of the game, Kenyi Bryant and Knight-Goff both made plays down the stretch when needed and Jaylon Hall sealed the game down the stretch with his poise and composure at the free throw line. This was a great team win for Doss. Tony Williams is doing spectacular things at Doss.
