Congrats to Doss, but that last foul on Taylor was bad as it gets. It turned the game IMO,Doss went to the line and never looked back. That foul just deflated the cards.

Very happy for Coach Williams and the Dragons. Will be pulling for them tomorrow.

Huh, sure didn't know that. I guess he should stay in the gym until basketball next year and work on his game to improve his chance at a scholarship.

Great game...like many have said, it came down to the last few possessions. South Laurel had a solid club and took nearly punch Doss threw at them. Only thing I would've done differently is I may have brought Taylor back a little sooner having 4 fouls.

 

I thought the 2 timeouts Tony Williams called in the final minute to avoid fouls and extend those possessions by another 2-3 seconds were genius.

 

Spent the game sitting next to Derek Anderson...was very cool. Loved just listening to him talk his way through the game. Good luck to the Dragons today!

As a 6th region parent I love it. Coach Williams has done a great job, especially after all the drama last season. He is not a coach that all kids can play for, but if they buy in, its proven he can lead them to great things. He has a very bright future. Great win for him and the young man of Doss.
