I'd imagine those aged 30 and up with kids don't mind him being around and that those 29 and below would prefer he not be around. I also imagine that those against it aren't going to publicly speak out. This reeks of one of those situations where we will get a quote from an "anonymous player" who sides with the front office. Especially now that news is out that the players were going to not play yesterday because of how this was handled. There is no way the whole locker room wanted Drake Laroche around all of the time to the point the kid had his own locker.

As I said, there's more to it IMO than this. He probably just got to the point where he wasn't doing well, had been around a long time, had plenty of money, AND wanted to spend more time with his son. It wasn't JUST this.

March 17, 201610 yr I think he is home schooled. I probably should have read the article first. :lol2: It's says that and a combination of traditional education. JMO, but I think the kids time would be better spent around people his age at this stage in his life. Sure being there a few times a week is fine, but there is no reason or need for him to be there everyday like a player. I don't have a problem with either LaRoche or the Sox.
