I am in no way saying that the White Sox are wrong for telling him he can't bring his son to work everyday, but for LaRoach to be criticized for his decision is pitiful.

Neither side is wrong IMO. He's not bashing the White Sox, they're not bashing him. I say kudos to him for walking away for his family. What kind of person criticizes someone for doing that?

No beef with the White Sox for making a rule. They have the power to do so. Not to criticize Laroche.......but why would he want his young, impressionable son in that kind of environment everyday? I think a large percentage of us know how locker rooms are from middle school to the pros. I know how locker rooms were when I was 11-17. I can only imagine how a professional locker room is. I can't imagine the things that kid has heard and seen in that environment and he is only 14 now. The more I think about it the more I think players may have gone to management and said you all need to do something. The kid had his own locker last season. :lol2: :lol2:

March 17, 201610 yr Author I have no issue with the Sox deciding it was too much. The lockerroom is where these guys live half of the year. It's where they walk around naked. They tell crude jokes. They have adult conversations. A kid around ALL OF THE TIME would be a bit much IMO.
