March 15, 201610 yr Local fox19 isn't reporting any deaths yet "do not know how many people were in car that went over bridge"
March 15, 201610 yr Really not sure how this happens. Will be interesting to see what surfaces from this. Prayers for those involved.
March 15, 201610 yr I heard police chace lead to wreck then semi couldn't stopped and was hitting cars "like bowling pins"

March 15, 201610 yr Car is located. Determining depth of water to try to recover vehicle and anyone inside Darn shame this had to happen. Prayers to the family/families. We as a society have got to figure a better way for law enforcement to handle car chases. Too many end up with the stolen or offender vehicle demolished and innocent folks killed or having their property damaged or destroyed. This is going to seem rather simple and "cartoonish" but with all the technology we have today, why can't someone design/invent something police can use to remotely disable an auto in a chase?
March 16, 201610 yr Looks like the accident involved a semi. With the speeds folks tend to travel at over that bridge, and the amount of damage to the front of that rig, I can totally see a vehicle being sent over the guardrail.

The simple solution is to stop chasing at a certain point. Yes, you have to let some of the criminals get away, but what's more important?
March 16, 201610 yr I'm curious to see whether or not there really was much of a car chase. Not easy to do during rush hour and most policies are dictated heavily by traffic conditions, if they even allow them at all.
