March 10, 201610 yr Durant is pretty feisty, I'm shocked he let it go like that. Durant strikes me as the text-book definition of "Faux Tough".
March 10, 201610 yr How does NO ONE from OKC nail him for this? That's pitiful. The days of the Celts backing up McHale and the Pistons backing up Laimbeer are long gone. These guys all share agents, shoe companies, and good times in the offseason.
March 10, 201610 yr Chris Paul strikes again. Dude has a history of hitting players in the junk. Did it again last night to Durant. There is no bigger tool in the league than Paul. Impossible to root for. Chris Paul got wide open by appearing to elbow Kevin Durant right in the groin - SBNation.com Evidently, you have forgotten about Laimbeer and Rodman. How many titles did these guys win using these tactics?
March 10, 201610 yr Evidently, you have forgotten about Laimbeer and Rodman. How many titles did these guys win using these tactics? Don't make them choose between outrage and nostalgia please.
March 10, 201610 yr Durant strikes me as the text-book definition of "Faux Tough". That would be Kevin Garnett.
March 10, 201610 yr Durant strikes me as the text-book definition of "Faux Tough". To me, "faux tough" requires that person to be an instigator. KD doesn't seem to incite things frequently, so I wouldn't lump him in that category...even though I don't think he's throwing any punches.
March 10, 201610 yr I dont understand why the defender didnt flop more when it happened, considering all the fake flopping they do, you would think they could do it right when it should be done. You don't watch much NBA, do you?
March 10, 201610 yr That would be Kevin Garnett. Team Studio Gangsters would feature KG on lead. Durant would be backup vocals.
March 10, 201610 yr You don't watch much NBA, do you? I heard a couple days ago that the flop has almost been eradicated. Only 6 or so called this year.
March 10, 201610 yr How does NO ONE from OKC nail him for this? That's pitiful. Who on the court could have seen it? Only one possibility, the guy on the opposite block, and I'm sure he was just looking that way out the side of his eye.
March 10, 201610 yr How does NO ONE from OKC nail him for this? That's pitiful. Good question. You hit my teammate in the nuts, you better believe I'm saying something even if teammate doesn't. Depending on the circumstances, a foul may follow. Faux tough guy accusations probably come later that night.
March 10, 201610 yr Durant strikes me as the text-book definition of "Faux Tough". He certainly qualifies as well. Agreed, and this guy will always be the guy that I think of as tough in this league:
