Hopefully NKY turns out in force on Wed night to support 9th region at 6:30 and then the 10th and 8th regions at 8.

Congratulations Holmes - my alma mater - strong squad, even after losing its best big early in the year. Your speed and athleticism will create some interesting matchup problems for other teams in the state tourney. I hope northern Kentucky takes the opportunity to support the ladies from Holmes, playing in a local venue. Wouldn't it be great to see another unexpected run like HolyCross had last year!

On the other side of the floor, tough for the seniors at Ryle but you can't get much closer than you did tonight. Great run and congratulations on taking Ryle girls basketball to a new level. As for Maddie Scherr, I look forward to watching her carve out a place in northern Kentucky high school history by the time she's finished. Love to watch her play the game.

Good luck Bulldogs!

Congrats to Holmes!! They never gave up and kept fighting to the end. The 10th plays the 8th at 6:30 and then Holmes plays at 8 both in Wednesday night.

Well deserved, fought hard for this one! Give credit to Ryle on a fantastic season!!!

Hopefully people will come out Wednesday night at support this amazing team!

Good luck Bulldogs! Keep the trophy in the 9th!!!

Is there a completed bracket out there somewhere?

Congrats to Coach Perkins and the Dogs.

Congrats to Holmes, wow, what a game, still not sure how they pulled this one out. Holmes just beat one of the best teams in the state in Ryle. Great season by both teams. Keep rolling. Go Bulldogs.

Thanks to Lawnboy13 for his updates. I liked his drama on the final shot at the buzzer ... leaving us hanging for a few seconds. Did Ryle run out of gas late? Was the bigger floor a factor?

It's my pleasure.

Nothing better than leaving folks hangin' for the result. :lol2:

Turnovers late hurt the Raiders, the bigger floor wasn't a factor.

Congratulations Lady Bulldogs!
