I think this incoming freshmen class along with some of this years sophomores will change your mind over the next 3 to 4 years.

 

My mind isn't actually made up. My point is that I read post after post about who's gonna be the starting qb, whose gonna run the ball, whose gonna catch the ball and so on. We had that and then some last year. The obstacles to Number 8 are on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball but more on O. Who is gonna fill the shoes of Yeager, and Ellis on the Oline. Are the ones who struggled last year going to be better? My mind is not made up I just think we are looking at the wrong positions.

Fair enough, but with what Boyle returns the offensive and defensive lineman early on should be the strongest part of the team, most of the returning linemen should have a lot of game time experience.

Boyle's freshman and Sophomore class is loaded at all positions. I'm sure Chuck Smith will have some of those younger players playing early. The next few years I could see Boyle going on another long winning streak.

I agree my son plays on that loaded freshman team, and the sophomore class has a lot of talent as well it's been sometime since Boyle has had this much talent on the field although it's young and will take a couple of years to show itself at the varsity level I believe Boyle will be back on top in the near future.

Boyle traveled to Central Hardin Saturday to compete in 7v7 and Linemen Challenge.

After going 1-2 in pool play, Boyle stepped up in bracket play and fell to Doss 18-16 in the championship game. The Boyle linemen team took 1st place.

 

All in all a very good day for the team. The 7v7 team has come a long way in the last 2 weeks and it was good to see the line compete.

 

7v7 is over for the Rebels.....now it is time to get down and dirty.

I can add a few names Paul Webb, Austin getter, Ben Johnson, and Clay Karsner for what ever reason there have been a few of the sophomores to be quit and 3 of them were pretty good football players.

A lot of that going around. I was surprised at the report that says football numbers are up. That is not what I am hearing from others. Good luck to the Rebels this fall.
