That would be an interesting scenario.

I meant that Lanter would be in the mix for the QB position starting with the 2017 season. He certainly needs to be mentioned along with the other four freshmen to be listed in the earlier thread.

I understood. I think the QB situation in 2016 as well as 2017 will be really really interesting.

I agree, I watched these kids play some last year with the exception of Bartelson but never the less Bartelson and Smith may be your 2 quickest players on the team and Kelly may be your most skilled lineman as a freshman on both sides of the ball. The future looks bright for the Rebels, there are many other skilled players in that class, those are just the three , I have heard the most about and will compete for not only playing time, but a starting spot.

I heard there is a kid in the 8th grade I think named Grant Hotchkiss(???) that recently moved to Boyle County that some are saying he will be a three sport star at Boyle County. I heard he plays QB also and has good size and some are saying he will be really good.

Haven't had a chance to talk to anyone about Spring Practice. Does anyone know how things went and how they looked?

All I have heard was the Walker kid has made a strong case for himself in the QB battle this year. Other than that pretty quiet.

I'm excited to see the Rebels this year. When Chuck was here previously there were years i thought they would be down a little and won it all. It's tough to replace the rock that Josey was but can't wait to see some younger guys get their opportunity.

It looked like they were out on the field today. Today could have been the last day though. I'm not sure.

Hearing Nick Walker has the upper hand in the battle for QB right now. Sam Tiller plays baseball but he hurt his back and hasn't played any baseball for quite some time now.
