Yes, the 5th referees are among the best (positive thinking) in the Commonwealth. There will likely not be a single fan that disagrees with a call in the 10th Region Tournament.

Bodes well for Mason County

Seen officials this season, from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and the 5th was by far the worse, short fuse for out of region coaches, and very inconsistent, and sure took care of their regional team, more than any other region we went to this year.

Over the past several years we have had the 5th, 8th, 11th, 13th, and 15th call our region............unless something has changed the only one I would not like to see is the 8th...........but like I said things can change..............

5th region officials are fine. Just like any other region you have really good ones, and you have ones you'd consider not very good. The issues stem from combinations. If you have 3 of the top officials you're in good shape, but if you have one top and two bottom you could be in for a long night. Honestly, I'd say this holds true for the 1st-16th regions.

This...I think it holds true throughout the state. There just isn't enough good officials. And 1 bad official can make a whole crew look bad.
