More on Steph Curry

Featured Replies

No, last night he moved into #2 for a single season. Record was set last year at 286. He is now at 276.

Steph now holds the #1, #2, #3 and #6 spots for most three pointers made in a season.

Insane.

Id say he may completely own the Top 10 before he's done.

Is that "Get On My Level"

..or...

"Get Off My Lawn"

Either one pretty much sums his attitude towards Steph. :lol2:

I was thinking Scott's Turf Builder.

He was ridiculous tonight. 12-16 from 3s and 30+ footer for the win.

He's already the best shooter in the history of the sport.

Best player ever is next on the list. I'm not ruling him out. Go ahead if you want to be wrong... :lol2:

Steph is doing things nobody else has ever even thought of doing. I always thought Reggie Miller had the most range in NBA history. He would pull up from waaayyy out and shoot it effortlessly. Steph makes Reggie look like an amateur. He literally can pull up from 35 with it be considered good shot selection. NOBODY else could ever do that. Oscar just needs to shut up - he frankly looks foolish right now...

Come on now. Little early for all that. Long way to pass MJ still.

What would he need to do to pass MJ?

What would he need to do to pass MJ?

For me he has to be at this level for quite some time. Jordan was great at 25 and great at 35.

Jordan was also an infinitely better defender. And as great as Curry is, Jordan was a better scorer. Different positions but it's gonna be hard for anyone to pass Jordan. People are still in awe of Curry, his next step is what to do when people start coming after him and trying to top him.

Curry is on pace to be a top 10, maybe even top 5 player. But 2 great seasons does not the GOAT make.

People jump to conclusions too quick in the NBA. Two years ago, KD was gonna pass LeBron. James Harden was the MVP front runner most of last year.

Curry is the best shooter in NBA history. Great scorer, truly unstoppable. The Shaq of point guards. But give me a choice of who I build around, I take Jordan. Kobe, LeBron, Curry are all great but there's only one MJ.

JMO, but I need to see more.

Agree with those that want to see more of the same from Steph for a few years before he's in the GOAT mix.

But I'm sure enjoying what I've seen the past two seasons!

No argument there and I don't think he is better than MJ. Just wondering what it would take. I'm just glad to see you didn't say 7 rings. At the same time, I've never seen anyone play the game the way Steph currently is. How long he can keep it up is what I am looking forward to following.

He pulled up from 38 feet for the game winning shot when he could have gotten closer to the basket. That's just obnoxious. :lol2: :lol2:

7 rings is ridiculous. Duncan could get 7 (this year and next) and I don't think anyone would pick him over Jordan. I hate when people throw out that argument.

I do think he could use more rings and to at least win the finals MVP the rest of the time.

I expect another ring and Finals MVP to happen this season.
