I believe that Kurt Bovard from Cov Cath is a better pure shooter than Todd. I would even venture to guess that Kurt might be an all around better player than Todd if he was to focus only on basketball.

 

While I don't follow CovCath basketball very closely, I would venture to say that Todd is the better all around player and would be regardless if Kurt played football or not. I also think that Kurt would agree with me. They are both very talented athletes though.

This definitely could not be based on who you have seen play because a few of these kids are not good shooters at all! Most are good shooters but not the better ones in the state! Obviously there are others that you have not seen and that is understandable. We asked for everyones thoughts and you are entitled to yours

Some of the kids on your list cannot shoot well at all. It must not take much to be considered a great shooter to be on your list.

In all seriousness, I would say that Chris Gowers (Ballard) and Vanhoose (Russell) are 2 of the top 5 in the state.

Cam Hundley is a good player, but I have watched him play several times and I can't even recall him ever shooting a three.

I'll agree with some of those but a few some are not good shooters at all.

Vanhoose from Russell is one of the best shooters I have watched & I understand he has improved from last season.

I would say Ty Proffitt is right there with him,except I think Ty has the mid-range shot unlike Jordan.

I would say Josh Bartley from McCreary Central. He didn't have an off night at all in his junior season, or atleast at home and during districts/regions. He nailed four straight threes in a row in one game last season. Led the state in free throw shooting percentage the last 3 years at over 92% per year.
