I thought Will Hager and Trey Blevins would have been co-POY for the 12th and I have seen others say the same about Connor McKim and Alex Cook for the 7th.

 

I get why Blevins and Cook won outright as they are both very deserving. I did think that Hager and McKim would get co-POY at worst. I won't go so far to say they were hosed but I was surprised to not see either of their names on the list.

Blake Smith from Clay Co is the only name missing that I was expecting see. I don't follow the 13th that closely, though, so maybe it doesn't surprise those closer to the region.

No, i 1000 percent agree with you REZ, Blake leads the team in Scoring, assists, blocks, steals, deflections, fg percent, 3 pt field goal percent. And is in the top 5 in every major category in the region with the exception of rebounding. He also guards the opposing teams best player 90 percent of the time. At worst i was expecting co players of year. But it is what it is. Taylor has been a media magnet this year. Congrats to him he is deserving but Blake Smith is also.

You could make and arguement for Robert, but Hunter carried his team all year long. I think the coaches got this one correct, but Robert was right there in the end.

Does anyone have the COY list or any information for the girls POY and COY?

I don't like the idea of picking CO POY's. If you're going to do that then Mckim should have shared it with Cook. Pick a winner. Stop trying to appease everyone. It's either Goodin or Faulkner and either Williams or Tisdale.

Hager was the most important player on the best team in the 12th region. Blevins had higher scoring totals but was out played when they went head to head at Wayne with Mercer coming away with an easy W. I wish they decided after the region tournament as that would be a big factor.
