The Berlin Wall was built to keep democracy and capitalism out.

For everyone talking about the Vatican wall, we remember that the pope was basically a prisoner inside the Vatican when Garibaldi's red shirts invaded Rome in the 19th century and unified Italy, don't we? He didn't put up the wall last week... or even in the 19th century.

 

In any case, I'm not worried about the wall. It's a typical Trump bit of nonsense to talk about this massive project and then expect someone else to pay for it. The man is woefully unprepared for the presidency.

Thats your opinion. And like the Pope its wrong. And I am not a Trump supporter. Would not matter if he had told Obama who I am sure not a supporter, he would still be wrong.

And does the Vatican have a open border policy?

I read once that the Great Wall of China is the only man-made structure visible from space. Maybe Trump's wall will dwarf the one in China and become a big tourist attraction, like the Noah's Ark under construction.
