For the past couple weeks in the Newport update & final game threads much discussion has revolved around a virtual unknown commodity in the Wiggins kid. Until just recently, and unbeknownst to the vast majority of the 9th Region teams, this young man as garnered much ballyhoo in said threads has to his playing time or even if he was going to be on the bench.

One thing is for sure, he is a "shadowy character", who is hard for opposing coaches to scout and game-plan around. I know this act is not sitting well with many 9th Region coaches. Will this "ghost act" impact the upcoming 36th District tournament, and possibly the 9th Region tournament?

Also, does anyone have info on where he went to grade school, info seems to be coming from a bunch of "ghostwriters" from the Wildcat den. Also, any word on if he is attracting any looks/offers at the college level?

Unbeknownst to many, Wiggins is actually a 5'3" guard with a 62" vertical and a jump shot like steph curry. My guess as to why Snapp hasn't been playing him much is because of match ups. Or he's trying to keep him a little secret.

Let's make sure we remember this is a high school kid we are talking about.

Yeah, but he has Magic Johnson game. I think he's as good as or better than Earvin (this was before he was Magic mind you) was in high school.

And to think, he's just an 8th grader...
