What gets lost in the ending is that Doug Collins was undercut at the end and after almost being knocked out, made two FT's that were as pressure packed as any two FT's in the history of basketball. 3 seconds to go and down 1 and needs to make both to win a gold medal against the Russians in the middle of the cold war...doesn't get any more clutch than that...and he just drained them both...

You are right. I always got him confused with the Kenny Davis that played later for NC State after the Thompson years. Thanks for the correction.
