With both Male and Trinity putting so many kids on College football teams does that mean both take a step back to the pack next year? They seemed to be clearly better than anyone in the state last year. Does this open things up for teams like X, Scott Co, or Lafeyette

That's a good question. I would think they would just reload being who they are, but you never know. Maybe someone could give us collegiate success for the 3 other teams you mentioned so far to see where they may stack up.

That would be my guess as well. The freedom of college and conditioning/lifting with your position group at 0600 followed up by team breakfast at 0800, class all day, meetings at 1600 and then group study can be challenging.

Belfry had two I am aware of.

 

Next year that number should be one of the highest in the State.

Trinity JV undefeated last year and I think the Freshman lost 1 game. Also pretty confident Male had the same result except the JV may have had the only loss. I don't think the landscape of 6A will change in 2016 - Dogs and Rocks will be in the thick of things even with so many players moving on to college Rosters.

I hope all of them are still on a college campus next year - at the very least, getting a college education.

Jacob Hiles - Lindsey Wilson

Jake Rabe - Pikeville

Collin England - Union

Tyler Selby- Georgetown

 

You are correct, Zac Lokey signed to play Lacrosse at Union. Johnny Miemen I believe intended to sign at Pikeville, but apparently did not. Not sure where he will end up. Whereever he does, he will do well. Heck of a LB.

I've been looking for Meiman to sign somewhere as well, but he is a next level wrestler too if he wants. Probably weighing his options.

Male JV lost one game to Trinity. The Harper Brothers dominated that game, especially the quarterback. The Frosh Bulldogs have been undefeated for two seasons now
