I believe Bernie is a good man. Unlike Hilary, he didn't change his views with the change of the wind. However, I need more than just a good man. When he got called out on his plan and how it wouldn't even work in Vermont, I knew it was too good to be true. I seriously doubt that his plan could even get by congress. Just a dude saying he will give out free stuff.

January 31, 201610 yr This system of nominating candidates is all screwed up. It gives states like Iowa a lot of political leverage. Stossel said on his program last night that almost all the candidates were slobbering all over themselves to endorse the use of buying corn for fuel enhancement, which is a big deal with the Iowa governor and other state bigwigs since corn is important to that state's economy. I wonder if Kentucky was having a caucus Monday instead of Iowa would coal get the same future promises of help from the candidates. Being first in the POTUS nomination process could definitely pay dividends in the future.
January 31, 201610 yr Candidates have traveled through every hamlet and holler in Iowa meeting thousands of Iowains. I can't remember the last candidate that visited KY beyond Louisville.
February 1, 201610 yr It cracks me up how important people think winning Iowa is. I mean Rick Santorum won Iowa in 2012... Now if you are Jeb Bush at less than 5%, that is a problem. HRC could lose Iowa and will definitely lost NH but will still get the nomination unless she gets indicted. What will be very interesting is how the Dems treat her if the FBI recommends to the DOJ that she be indicted and then the DOJ does not indict. The Dems will watch closely as she may be so damaged that Joe or Liz get in. There is NO WAY they will let Bernie get the nomination IMO....

Why do the states have to go in the same order every time??
